Inherent Dream Records presents... Food & Song Volume 4. In 2017, Inherent Dream Production Company launched a passion project called Food & Song. Company Founder and President Trevor J. Brown wanted to put together an album of music featuring artists from Minnesota and the Midwest, sell it online and in turn take the proceeds from the compilation and donate them to local food shelves across the state of Minnesota. After compilations in 2017, 2018 and 2020, Inherent Dream is ready to launch Food & Song Volume 4.

Volume 4 is the most diverse collection of songs yet for any Food & Song compilation, featuring rock, alternative, reggae, gospel, experimental and acoustic music. The acts featured on Volume 4 include Capital Sons, OMan, Cyrena & MPLS United, Chairman of the Bored and Trevor J. Brown. The compilation also features music from the late Robert “Bob” Luetmer. Bob, along with his wife Amy, supported the project since the very beginning and were the first act to ever donate a song to the Food & Song series. Bob passed away in 2021 and Volume 4 is dedicated to him.

“Bob was an incredible musician and someone that I looked up to musically. I remember when I was younger and the CD Bob and Amy gave to my parents. That is how I was introduced to their band Crunchie Undies. And then over the years listening to Elsie’s Room and the solo stuff. Bob was so generous to me over the years and I will always be grateful for that. He was a champion for this project since day one. This one is dedicated to you Bob! Throughout the years, with the first three volumes of Food & Song, and a matching donation at one point, over $1,000 has been raised for local food shelves in Minnesota. Donations have been made through the Give MN website and donations have been sent to food shelves in Zimmerman, Elk River, Milaca, Princeton and Moose Lake, Minnesota.
